Lincoln Christ’s Hospital School’s 3G Pitch has recently undergone a specialist Deep De-compaction Treatment to improve the playing performance.
The pitch was originally installed in 2008 by Smith Construction and has continued to be maintained by the company to a high standard. Following almost 7 years of intensive use by the school and other football and sports teams, the surface was given a boost treatment to aid drainage and prevent compaction of the surface.
Smith Maintenance (division of Smith Construction) carried out the specialist Deep De-compaction Treatment using their specially designed equipment that restores the performance characteristics by lifting the “grass” fibres and deeply de-compacting the rubber and sand infill. This lifted the infill levels and assisted in the pile becoming more upright. It will also aid drainage properties of the system.
We are pleased to recommend Lincoln Christ Hospital School’s 3G Pitch as being a high standard playing surface offering excellent player performance characteristics.
